Yosi Morik
Mr. Morik is a businessman with 18 years experience as a financial trader, based in Chicago. He has experience with medical device companies as founder and financing entrepreneur since 1998. He was the founder of Advanced Stent Technologies Inc. (AST), which he started and carried through development and clinical trials. AST was successfully acquired by Boston Scientific. He served as chairman and director of two Israeli medical device companies: Rcadia Medical Imaging Ltd. and Expanding Orthopedics Ltd., and is now a director of Rcadia and 10UV(AriViVa), a Boston based New-Media company.
Mr. Morik holds a BSc in biology and BA in mathematics from Roosevelt University, Chicago and an MSc in information systems and MBA from the University of Illinois.
Ehud Dafni, PhD
Dr.Dafni has a strong background in medical imaging, especially in computed tomography, where he is co-inventor of multi-slice spiral CT, the standard CT technology used worldwide. Before founding Arineta, Dr. Dafni served as vice president for business development at CMT Medical Technologies and CEO of CardioWatch Ltd. Previously he was at Philips Medical Systems in Israel and the US, at Picker International/Marconi Medical Systems, Cleveland, Ohio, and at Elscint Ltd., Haifa, Israel. Earlier he was a faculty member at the Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot, Israel. Dr. Dafni holds a PhD in nuclear physics, from the State University of New York, Stony Brook, NY, and a BSc in physics, mathematics, and computer science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
