Senior Software Engineer/Software Architect
Position's Scope:
– High level software professional responsible for imaging system software architecture
– Initiates and leads cross-platform software designs, critical architectural changes and refactoring initiatives
– Manages technical software design risks and mitigations
– Performs proofs of concept, modeling and risk assessment of alternatives.
– Breaks down of complex tasks to manageable work items
– Identifies and imports new technologies, tools, technical trends and concepts
– Works closely with system teams (Applications, Physics, SE) and R&D management
– Acts as design ambassador, tutor and architecture champion
Skills:
– Proven in-depth knowledge of Object-Oriented Design
– Proficiency in latest software trends and technologies
– Broad system view along with good control over the details.
– Self-driven individual with multitasking and execution skills
– Strong communicator, excellent interpersonal relations, mentoring and
influential abilities
– Fast learner, open to new ideas and embraces challenges
Education:
At least BA in Software Engineering or equivalent.
Relevant Experience:
– 5+ years as professional software developer
– Designer of complex software components and features
– Experienced software architect with strong hands-on capabilities
– Proven documentation writing and presentation skills
Advantage Experience:
– Working in medical device development
– Professional leadership in previous positions
– Background in modern technologies and frameworks
Subordinate to:
SW department manager
Languages:
Fluent in English & Hebrew
